How do illegal immigrants negatively affect all of us in the US?

Simply put, they are an unnecessary, and illegal mind you, burden on the US. Just think of what other issues could be resolved if we didn’t have to stand watch on the border. I had a mexican friend in my platoon in the Army, his family and himself had gone through the proper channels to obtain citizenship, and in fact were continuing to do so for additional family members. That is honorable. There is no reason we should be forced to harbor, protect, care for, whathaveyou, anyone who enters illegally. In addition, they contribute to an unhealthy portion of crime in the border states, and often treat the land that they cross with little respect to its actual owner. Then there’s the whole “taking our jobs” thing. This argument can hold its weight when argued properly, but many dismiss it by simply stating that they take jobs Americans do not desire. I’m certain that there are American’s that’d do the work, if only they weren’t getting paid sub-minimum wage to do such.

Lastly, it remains a potential threat for use by actual terrorists, as loosely mentioned above, as many arab individuals with malicious intent could pass as Mexican.

A shame that a wall isn’t feasible.

when the car of tomorrow goes full time in 2008 will anyone lose interest in nascar?

From what I have seen so far with the COT Races; personally it is going to increase my interest in NASCAR. The racing has become a bit tighter, more intense, and produced so very exciting finishes.

There is always one constant and that is change. Most people hate change at first, but once they get comforable with it they will embrace the COT and the wild racing it brings.

As for comparing the NHL to NASCAR….I see your point because NASCAR right now is making the same mistake the NHL made. By taking the broadcasts from network to Cable it has limited the access Fans have to the sport. “Out of sight out of mind” the old saying goes. When the NHL went to basic cable, it lost Fans and continues to lose Fans.

I know some people have made rude comments like “you should get cable then”. Problem, no matter what cable or satallite provider you have they do not and will not carry every channel. NHL went to VS and I do have that, but some of my friends don’t get VS or TNT.

NASCAR needs to wise up and learn from NHL’s huge mistake and get their broadcasts back on network TV where all Fans have access.

*Photographic film has a different sensitivity to colors than the eye, therefore you often see more red aurora on photos than with the unaided eye. Since there is more atomic oxygen at high altitudes, the red aurora tends to be on top of the regular green aurora. The colors that we see are a mixture of all the auroral emissions. Just like the white sunlight is a mixture of the colors of the rainbow, the aurora is a mixture of colors. The overall impression is a greenish-whitish glow. Very intense aurora gets a purple edge at the bottom. The purple is a mixture of blue and red emissions from nitrogen molecules.

The green emission from oxygen atoms has a peculiar thing about it: usually an excited atom or molecule returns to the ground state right away, and the emission of a photon is a matter of microseconds or less. The oxygen atom, however, takes its time. Only after about a 3/4 second does the excited atom return to the ground state to emit the green photon. For the red photon it takes almost 2 minutes! If the atom happens to collide with another air particle during this time, it might just turn its excitation energy over to the collision partner, and thus never radiate the photon. Collisions are more likely when the atmospheric gas is dense, so they happen more often the lower down we go. This is why the red color of oxygen only appears at the very top of an aurora, where collisions between air molecules and atoms are rare. Below about 100 km (60 miles) altitude even the green color doesn’t get a chance. This happens when we see a purple lower border: the green emission gets quenched by collisions, and all that is left is the blue/red mixture of the molecular nitrogen emission.

hey buddy, the important thing here is diet…if you have the will power to pick up the weights and tire yourself out doing then you will build muscle.

but working down breaks down a percentage of muscle and its your dietary intake that builds it back up.

150 is a good amount of weights and you rig it to do just about any type of resistance exercise….legs will be a bit harder.

your workout it self tho should work from larger to smaller muscle groups…so start with chest & abs and/or back and then work your way down and out….for instance.

chest, bench, flys…then abs, nothing works better than crunches….then work out….if you do chest your secondary muscle that assists in working your chest is the triceps…so instead of burning out your biceps the same day and then being totally sore for a whole day after, continue with triceps, burn them out…then forearm curls…inward curls.

your protein intake should be about 30% of your body weight in grams….if you weigh 100 pounds than post workout protein consumption should be atleast 30 grams of protein.

carbs are important too….infact….i just read an article my coach gave me about chocolate milk having the exact carb to protein ratio that nutritionist suggest for post work out dietary intake.

and most importantly have fun with it.
